SSP Weerasinghe Pathiranalage Wimalasena from Jaffna and IP Ananda Rajakaruna from Alpitiya, was captured by CID yesterday. They are charged of endeavoring to hide the killer of Jayaratne.
Police said these two officers, who were connected to the Special Task Force (STF) amid the time of the homicide, had given explosives to the inn holder's child with the proposition of misleading the Police over the wrongdoing.
